Elle is a solicitor in the family department. Prior to qualification Elle worked as a paralegal assisting fee earners on a variety of Children Act and Family Law Act matters.
Elle is now running her own caseload covering care proceedings, PLO matters, children matters as well as divorce and finance.
RECENT EXPERIENCE
Elle represented a father through the Public Law Outline (PLO) process. The father’s parenting assessment was positive which resulted in the local authority stepping the case down.
Elle represented a mother in contested private children law proceedings which resulted in a lives with order being made in the mother’s favour.
Elle represented a mother in private children law and non-molestation order proceedings. This involved a High Court application to secure the immediate return of the child to the mother. A non-molestation order was also granted for the mother’s protection.
Elle represented an applicant wife in financial proceedings where a final order was made in her favour.
Elle represented a mother through the Public Law Outline (PLO process). The mother engaged with all support offered and the case was stepped down.
Elle has represented a number of father’s in care proceedings and obtained a declaration of parentage for them to be named on the child/children’s birth certificates.
Elle represented a paternal aunt in private children proceedings where an order was made for the child to live with her.
Elle represented a respondent mother in private children proceedings and obtained a final lives with other, a prohibited steps order, a section 91(14) order and no order for contact or parental responsibility to protect the child.
Elle represented an applicant in non-molestation order proceedings and secured the making of a final order despite the respondent being in prison.
Elle advised and assisted a wife in financial negotiations and was able to agree a settlement in her favour.
Elle represented a respondent mother in private children proceedings and obtained a section 91(14) order for a period of 11 years.
Elle successfully appealed and overturned a decision of a district judge as to progression of contact to an unsupervised setting.
